Four kids? No problem for the Christiania Bike.

In Denmark today is called Long Friday.  I haven’t actually asked why it is called that - as opposed to Good Friday - but I would gather it has to do with the fact that for JC, the day must have felt like a really long one.

So here’s a looooonnng john for Long Friday.

The legendary George Bliss, owner of Hudson Urban Bicycles, has been creating and promoting cargo bikes for quite some time now - probably for a lot longer than many of knew they even existed.

Here he shows off one of his earliest creations for an article last summer in the New York Times.
